Welcome! My name is Dionne and I’m the author of the brand new book “Bead Jewelry Profits”. I started this blog to provide resources, tips and tricks to help you make money from your bead jewelry passion.
My background
I’m a scientist and educator by trade, although my passion is starting and running small businesses, which I have done for the past ten years.
I was introduced to beading by a good friend of mine a couple of years ago who makes the most intricate bead jewelry I’ve ever seen. I was hooked and quickly developed a bead stash to be proud of!
When my friend told me she was planning to sell some of her bead jewelry, she asked me to help her decide the best way to go about it. I did some research and found there was a lot of information available, but it was hard to determine which was good or bad without going through a lot of trial and error.
I decided to contact four women who had successful bead jewelry businesses and find out what their secrets to success where. From their generous sharing of information and from my small business marketing experience, I came up with a step by step guide to start a bead jewelry business.
From my initial research, I could see there was a need for this information in the wider community so I decided to self publish Bead Jewelry Profits to help others achieve the lifestyle of their dreams.
