So you have all the strategies for how you can make money selling your bead jewelry online.
Having the information is great, but now you need to take action.

Day 28 of 30
In a previous post I talked about the benefits of having a support group – a group of likeminded people that are travelling on the same road, that you can celebrate your successes with, and who will offer advice and support when things aren’t going so well.
I thought it might be useful to give you some resources where you can join a community of bead jewelry artists, and create a community of support around you.

It’s Day 27 of 30. I thought it might be useful to recap on what we have covered over the past few weeks.
Do you know why you want to start a bead jewelry business, do you have the self confidence that you can do it and have you determined what strengths you bring to the business?
Do you know how to find people to support you while you are starting your business and the types of people you should avoid like the plague?

The competition is open to jewelry designers who focus on bridge jewelry – the bridge between costume and fine jewelry.
The focus of the competition is not just on artistic flair – as an applicant you need to demonstrate you have good business skills as well.
The competition runs from April 15th to June 9th, 2010.
Even if you decide not to enter it is worth downloading the application form and running through the list of questions. It’s a great exercise in business planning.

Day 19 of 30
Assuming you want to sell your bead jewelry from your own website, you’ll need to have a way for your customers to pay online.
The quickest and easiest way to accept payments is using PayPal. You can create a “buy it now” button and place it underneath the bead jewelry item you want to sell. This is fairly straightforward if you know how to cut and paste HTML code.

Day 17 of 30
Before you can start selling your bead jewelry, you need to know how to take good photographs. Taking good photographs is important because when you are selling online, people can’t touch or feel your bead jewelry until they purchase it. So you need to make sure that your photographs are capturing the beauty of your creations.

Day 15 of 30
If the idea of hanging out with a group of nice people while showcasing your jewelry appeals to you, you may want to consider selling your creations through home jewelry parties.
What could be better, a group of highly targeted buyers with no-one else to purchase from except you.
And if you are looking for a guide that will help you to grow your business then consider reading Lorri Ely’s book, “How to Run a Home Based Jewelry Party Business for Fun and Profit”.

Day 14 of 30
Are you a people person? Do you feel comfortable talking to potential clients and actively promoting your handcrafted bead jewelry? Then you may want to consider selling your creations through a jewelry booth.
When you think about setting up a jewelry booth, it is easy to get intimidated by the cost of the show and the thought of not being able to recoup that investment if you don’t make many sales.
To give yourself the best chance of success, you might want to consider purchasing a copy of Rena Klingenberg’s book, The “Ultimate Guide to Your Profitable Jewelry Booth”.
